The CBSE Class 10 Board Exam 2021 was cancelled on April 14, 2021, due to the COVID-19 pandemic situation in the country. The CBSE then announced the evaluation criteria for the CBSE Class 10 Board Exam 2021 candidates. On June 17, 2021, Sanyam Bhardwaj, informed ANI that the students who will be not satisfied with the marks will be allowed to appear for physical exams. The board will start online registration to know the exact number of applicants. He further informed that the CBSE Class 10 Board Exam 2021 will be declared by July, 2021 and the CBSE Class 12 Board Exam 2021 result will be declared by July 31, 2021.
The ANI tweet said, "Students who are not satisfied with marks can appear for physical examinations. We'll start online registration to know exact number of applicants. As per the assessment policy for CBSE Class 10 Board Exam 2021 results, there internal assessment is for 20 marks and the assessment of 80 marks is done by the schools. This assessment is based on the marks scored by the students in different tests/exams conducted by the schools during the year. Moreover, the marks should be in consonance with the past performance of the school in CBSE Class 10 Board Exam 2021.
For compiling the CBSE Class 10 Board Exam 2021 results, the different categories of the tests and exams include periodic test / unit test, Half Yearly/ Mid-term exams and Pre-board exams. The maximum marks allotted for these three categories are 10, 30 and 40, respectively.
