Jabong targets 25 lakh shoppers, eight times increase in revenue with Big Brand Sale
- Jabong is launching 15 new brands including Swarovski during the sale
- The company will offer minimum 50% to 80% discount on 2,500+ brands.
- Jabong will also offer international travel offers and deals on OnePlus 5 smartphones.
Fashion e-tailer, Jabong announced the launch of its ‘fashion festival’ – Big Brand Sale on Friday which will run from July 29 to July 31.
The sale is expected to have more than 2,500 international and national brands available at minimum 50% to 80% discount.
Jabong said almost all of its catalogue will be up for sale.
“With this sale Jabong is expecting an 8x increase in its revenue during the event and 30x in the first hour,” Jabong said.
Jabong said the brands participating in the sale included Nike, Adidas, Puma, Dorothy Perkins, Esprit, Mango, UCB, US Polo, VeroModa, Only, Gas, Mother Care, Gini & Jony, Next, Steve Madden, W, BIBA, Jack & Johns, John Players, Blackberrys, Accessorize, Crocs, Superdry and 2,500 more.
The sale will also see the addition of new brands such as Swarovski and Elite.
Jabong said it has already started revealing the prices so that consumers are able to build their wishlist prior to the sale.
Flipkart registered monthly sales revenue of more than Rs 2600 crore which included the units sold on its e-commerce websites - Jabong and Myntra, a report by Live Mint said.
“Our loyal customers have already started wish listing and we expect to have Rs 400+ crore worth of items wish listed before the sale starts at midnight of 29th July,” Gunjan Soni, Head of Jabong, said.
Deals will be announced every few hours, the company said.
Jabong is also giving away offers in collaboration with its partners like Yatra and SBI and Mobikwik.
Shoppers will be offered a chance to win an international travel opportunity by Yatra, ‘1+5 offers’ on each day of the sale by OnePlus5, a 5% cashback by SBI and a 15% cashback on MobiKwik, the company said.
