MG Hector 2023: Automaker MG Motor India has unveiled the facelift of its Hector SUV with Autonomous Level 2 driving technology in the country. The car boasts of 11 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), including Traffic Jam Assist (TJA) and Auto Turn Indicators to make driving in city conditions more convenient.
"The wait is finally over! Introducing #TheNextGen MG #Hector, an SUV that's ahead of its time but still more connected & more human in many ways. Morris Garages India is expected to announce the price of MG Hector 2023 during the upcoming Auto Expo 2023 - on either January 11 or January 12.

The newly unveiled car comes in 7 colour options - Dune Brown, Glaze Red, Aurora Silver, Starry Black, Dual Tone White & Black, Candy White, Havana Grey.

MG Hector 2023: Engine specifications
The Hector facelift will be powered by the same engine and transmission options as before. It will get two petrol engine setups and one diesel option —
i) A 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine that produces 141bhp of power and 250Nm of torque, mated to a 6-speed manual or a CVT.
ii) The same 1.5-litre turbo-petrol in the mild-hybrid avatar with a 6-speed manual transmission.
iii) A 2-litre turbocharged diesel engine producing 168bhp of power and 350Nm of torque, mated to a 6-speed manual transmission.

MG Motor Next-Gen Hector: Features
The car comes equipped with features like 14-inch HD Portrait infotainment system and a first-in-segment digital bluetooth key with a key-sharing function, panoramic sunroof, intelligent headlamp control, and more. It also offers intelligent Auto Turn Indicators with i-SMART technology with over 75 connected car features.

The company said that the new SUV comes in 5, 6, and 7-seater options in dual-tone argil brown and black interiors and offers intelligently designed seating options, plush interiors, and ample space.

MG Hector 2023: Safety Features
In terms of safety, the car comes equipped with 6 airbags, a 360-degree HD camera, Electronic Stability Program (ESP), Traction Control System (TCS), Hill Assist Control (HAC), all four-wheel disc brakes, a 3-point seat belt for all seats, electric parking brake (EPB), front parking sensors and more.
