Tokyo Olympics 2020 Latest Update: The Olympics 2020 is being held at Tokyo, Japan. Mirabai Chanu raised the hopes of the Indian by bagging Silver medal in weightlifting on the very first day of the event. The Olympics 2020 has started from July 23, 2021 and will continue till August 8, 2021. There are certain other events for India that are on the lookout. Today, India's men's hockey team thrashed Argentina 3-1 to qualify for the quarter finals. Also, PV Sindhu defeated Denmark's M Blichfeldt 21-15, 21-13 and enters quarter finals. Mary Kom will also participate in the round of 16 for boxing women 51 kg later today.

Result: Arjun and Arvind finished 5th

5.22 AM - Golf: Men's Round 1 - Anirban Lahiri

5.30 AM - Shooting: Women's 25m Pistol Qualification - Rahi Sarnobat and Manu Bhaker

Result: Manu Bhaker finishes 5th with a score of 292 and Rahi Sarnobat finishes 18th with a score of 287 after 25m  women's pistol qualification precision stage. The top 8 shooters will qualify for the finals which will be determined after tomorrow's rapid fire stage.
