India vs England 3rd Test 2021: After registering a historic win at Lord's and taking an 1-0 lead in the series, Virat Kohli and his men will take on England in the third test, starting from today. The cricket fans will be able to catch the action live on Sony SIX, Sony TEN 3, Sony TEN 4 from tomorrow, August 25, 2021, 2.30 PM onwards. This test will be played at Headlinley Stadium.

Sony Sports has recently tweeted about the streaming details of the game from its official Twitter handle. The tweet said, "Watch Team India bring their A-Game on in the 3rd Test!!! WED, 25th Aug, 2:30 PM on Sony SIX, Sony TEN 3, Sony TEN 4."

 

The third test between India and England will take place at Headingley Stadium, Leeds. BCCI has tweeted about the venue and posted a picture of the stadium from its official Twitter handle. The tweet said, "Hello and welcome to the Headingley Stadium, Leeds. Our venue for the 3rd Test against England."

 

The playing 11 for the third test starting from tomorrow has not yet been declared. Sony Sports posted regarding whether Ravichandran Ashwin will return in the playing 11. The tweet from the official Twitter handle of Sony Sports said, "India is spoilt for choice as Exceptional spin bowler, World No.2 Test Bowler, Ravichandran Ashwin, is in the mix! Should Ash be part of this 3rd big clash?! Watch the 3rd Test!!! WED, 25th Aug, 2:30 PM on Sony SIX, Sony TEN 3, Sony TEN 4."

 

In the second test, KL Rahul scored a spectacular knock of 129 runs in the first innings. India scored 364 runs in the first innings. England in the first innings scored 391 runs.

In the second innings, experienced middle order batsmen from India, Pujara and Vice-Captain Rahane scored 45 and 61 runs, respectively. However, in the end it was Shami and Bumrah who scored 56 not out and 34 not out to take India's score to 298-8, a respectable score for India to declare the inning.

England's battling line up crumbled before the pace attacks of Shami, Bumrah and Siraj. Siraj took four wickets in the second innings. Bumrah picked up three wickets. Ishant Sharma and Shami picked up two and one wickets, respectively to bundle England for paltry 120 runs.

KL Rahul was declared the Player of the Match.
