Facebook 2nd most trusted internet brand in India; you wont believe who is not in top 10
TRA Brand Trust Report 2018 has just been released and it has some interesting findings for India's preference towards internet brands. The survey was carried out during November 2017-January 2018 and did not take into account the recent reports of data breach and privacy involving Facebook. Let's check out seven most trusted internet brands in India:
Of course, Google stood at the top! Online search engine Google is the most trusted Internet brand in India. With 1.2 trillion searches per year, it has become the first port of call for all things on the Internet," the TRA Brand Trust Report 2018 said.
Interestingly, Facebook is the second most trusted brand in India. It was ranked seventh in 2015, fourth in 2016 and third in 2017.
E-commerce major Amazon ranked third among the most trusted Internet brands in the country.
Business-to-Consumer and Consumer-to-Consumer e-retailer e-Bay ranked fourth.
The other major e-commerce brand Flipkart was positioned sixth in the brand trust report.
Among the online taxi aggregators, Ola ranked seventh in the list. Unbelievably, considering the amount of media space it hogs, Uber is not even in top 10! This cab aggregator took the 15th position!
