Amazon founder Jeff Bezos is not any more the world's richest man on the planet. The e-commerce giant founder has been dethroned by Bernard Arnault and family.  Arnault is chairman and chief executive of Louis Vuitton Moet Hennessy.

According to Forbes Real-Time Billionaires List, the 72-year-old LVMH claimed the top spot with a net worth of $186.4 billion.  Bezos net worth is $186 billion, as per Forbes. Last month, he had already overtaken Tesla’s Elon Musk to become the world’s second richest person, as per Bloomberg Billionaires Index. French fashion tycoon fortune rose by whooping $110 billion in the last one-and-half year, steering him clear ahead of Musk. Tesla’s Chief fortune stands at $147.3 billion.   

LVMH, one of the world’s leading fashion luxury goods company, owns around 70 brands, including Fendi, Christian Dior and Givenchy. Louis Vuitton Moet Hennessy reported a 32% yearly surge in the revenue to 14 billion euros in the first quarter of 2021. The stocks held by Arnault and family saw a significant uptick, helping them take the top spot as the richest person.
