Well, as it turned out, passengers were getting ready for the landing of this United Airlines flight. All well and good. But then, the plane's ceiling panel fell off! Straight on the heads of the flyers! This was due to the extreme hard landing at Dulles International Airport - the jet slammed onto the ground very hard. Passengers onboard were in for a shock as the panel came off the ceiling. The plane from Amsterdam to Washington on Wednesday flew well all the way, but things went haywire thereon.

Incongruous images emerged of passengers holding onto the ceiling panel that fell and they had to keep doing that until the plane slowed down and stopped and others lent a helping hand, Fox 13 News reported. “On a flight from Amsterdam to Dulles, an interior aircraft ceiling panel came loose upon landing, and made contact with a customer," United Airlines said in a statement.
