Tesla CEO Elon Musk and his mother Maye Musk have shared their memories of the Taj Mahal with millions of people in India who are eager for Tesla cars to arrive in the country. Elon's grandparents visited the World Heritage Site in Agra on their way from South Africa to Australia in 1954, according to Maye in an intriguing anecdote accompanied by pictures.

On their way to Australia from South Africa, your grandparents visited the Taj Mahal in 1954. These are the only people to have done this trip without a radio or GPS in a single-engine propeller plane. Their motto `Live dangerously`. carefully, she tweeted late on Monday.

Maye responded to Elon after he originally responded to one of his followers: “It is amazing. I visited in 2007 and also saw the Taj Mahal, which truly is a wonder of the world.”

Elon`s follower had tweeted:Amazing facade detail of the Red Fort in Agra, India.

In her parents' pictures, Maye can be seen standing in front of the Taj Mahal with her mother, Wyn.

Another picture shows Elon's grandfather, Joshua, standing in front of a single-engine propeller plane.

A user responded: “Next time you must see the engineering marvel that is the Kailasa temple. That was built before the Mughals taught us engineering, architecture and made us super rich”.

Another posted: “How about visiting again to set up a factory here?”

Some followers even requested Elon to deliver the first Tesla in front of the Taj mahal.

Musk has said that he is facing challenges from the government for releasing its products in India.

“Tesla isn`t in India yet due to Challenges with the government,” he had posted.

Musk has said that he wants to launch cars in India, but the country`s import duties on EVs are “highest in the world by far.”
