SEBI Asks AIF To Provide Option Of Direct Plans, Allows Investors To Participate Without Distribution Fee

SEBI's decision on AIF: Commission rules tightened. Strict rules will be made to prevent more transparency and misselling. AIF scheme investors will also get the option of direct plan. AIFs will get the option only on investment through registered broker/intermediary. Distribution / placement fee has to be mentioned at the time of investment only.
