Crypto Regulation In India: Virtual digital assets transactions to fall under PMLA

In a move to prevent the misuse of digital assets and regulate crypto space, the Finance Ministry has announced that digital assets, cryptocurrencies, and virtual asset businesses will now fall under the ambit of the Prevention of Money Laundering Act 2002.
