Delhi Police is quite active on social media platforms and never leaves any opportunity to use memes in order to spread awareness among citizens. Now, it has used a viral video from the Asia Cup 2022 final to spread the message of road safety. A video of two fielders of Pakistan colliding while attempting to catch the ball and finally dropping it has gone viral on social media platforms. They not only dropped the catch but it eventually turned into a six. They were trying to take Sri Lankan player Bhanuka Rajapaksa's catch. It was the last of the penultimate over when Shadab Khan and Asif Ali ran to grab the catch. While Asif was closer to the ball, the lack of coordination and poor communication between the two resulted in a collision and the ball went for a six.

The Delhi Police has now tweeted this video to highlight the importance of being alert while you are on the road.

"Ae Bhai, Zara Dekh Ke Chalo," reads the tweet reads. For the uninitiated, these lines are part of the popular song from the Raj Kapoor-starrer 'Mera Naam Joker' that was released in 1970. The video has also been tweeted by the Delhi Traffic Police.

It is pertinent to mention that the Delhi Police recently shared an image of Virat Kohli to encourage people to follow traffic rules. In the image, Kohli is seen celebrating his 71st century. He hit the century during the Asia Cup 2022 against Afghanistan.

"Kohli waited 3 years to give us his 71st century. You can wait till it turns green," the post reads. Through the post on Facebook, the Delhi Police tried to encourage citizens to wait at the traffic signal till the light turned green. "Stop while you can on red...Before taking a dangerous turn ahead!" the post said.
