FIH Men's Hockey World Cup 2023: Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik inaugurated the FIH Hockey World Cup at Barabati Stadium in presence of Union Sports Minister Anurag Thakur on Wednesday.Odisha Sports minister Tusharkanti Behera, senior officials of the state as well as FIH (International Hockey Federation) and Hockey India along with a 50,000 strong crowd attended the mega event. The 15th edition of the Men's Hockey World Cup will feature 16 teams and some of the biggest superstars in the sport, competing for the coveted title of world champion.
