India vs Afghanistan 2nd T20I Live Streaming: After a commanding win in the first T20I by six wickets, India is all set to go against Afghanistan in the second T20I on Sunday, January 14, at the Holkar Stadium in Indore. India is already in the driving seat with a 1-0 lead in the three-match T20I series and will look to seal the series today. Star batter Virat Kohli is also expected to return to the playing 11 along with youngster Yashasvi Jaiswal. It is expected to be a no-brainer in selecting the playing 11 for head coach Rahul Dravid and skipper Rohit Sharma for today's match. The only player who has cemented his position and is continuing to prove his potential at the moment has to be Shivam Dube. His brilliant 60 off 40 balls at a brilliant strike rate of 150 has not only helped India win the match but also earned him the player of the match. He also bowled two handy overs, giving away just 9 runs and also taking a wicket. His performance in recent years has given India a backup option in Hardik Pandya's absence. However, the Afghans also put up a good fight against the Men in Blues even without their star spinner, Rashid Khan, who is also expected to return to the playing 11 today.

After winning the toss, Afghanistan was asked to bat first by India. The Afghan duo of Rahmanullah Gurbaz and Ibrahim Zadran gave a good start but weren't convincing enough. The middle-order managed to get some runs under their belt courtesy of Azmatullah Omarzai and veteran Mohammad Nabi. Indian bowlers were also solid with the ball, especially pacer Arshdeep Singh, who bowled a maiden over, and spin all-rounder Axar Patel, who picked up two wickets during his spell. Ravi Bishnoi was the most expensive bowler, giving away 35 runs in three overs. Afghanistan managed to put up a target of 159 in 20 overs, losing five wickets in the process.

India had an early blow when skipper Rohit Sharma was run out off the second ball of the innings when Shubman Gill was ball-watching and Sharma kept on running, sacrificing his wicket.

However, Gill rectified his mistake by smashing some beautiful boundaries, scoring 23 runs off 12 balls. The star of the show was Shivam Dube, who had been smashing the Afghan bowlers left, right, and centre, along with the support of Jitesh Sharma chasing the target down in 17.3 overs.

Mujeeb Ur Rahman was the only bowler who had managed to trouble the Indian batters, as he picked up two wickets and gave away just 21 runs in his four overs. India won the match by six wickets.
