India Vs England LIVE Score Updates, IND VS ENG ICC World CUP 2023 Warm Up Match Live, IND VS ENG Scorecard: India captain Rohit Sharma won the toss and chose batting againt Jos Buttler-led defending world champions England in their first 2023 ICC World Cup warm-up match at the Barsapara Stadium in Guwahati on Saturday, September 30, 2023. The 50-over-a-side match was set to beging at 2:30 IST, but it was delayed due to rain. The match has now officially been abandoned. The rain started 10 minutes before the scheduled start of play. India are high on winning an ODI series 2-1 against Australia at home this week. India will play their next warm-up match against The Netherlands in Thiruvananthapuram on October 3 in the 50-over World Cup. Ahead of the start of the 2023 ICC World Cup, participating teams will play a total of 10 warm-up matches. The Indian vs England warm-up match on Saturday will be telecast Live on Disney Hotstar's app and website.

Going into the warm-up match, England have an edge over India as they have won in their last two meetings at ICC tournaments. They thrashed India by 10 wickets in the semi-final of the 2022 T20 World Cup. Prior to that, England became the only team to beat India in the group stage of the 2019 ICC World Cup. England emerged champions beating New Zealand in the title clash of the 2019 ICC World Cup. 

The first match of the 2023 ICC World Cup will be played between England and New Zealand at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on October 5.
