A total of 333 players have registered for the auction, including 214 Indian players, 119 overseas players, and two players from associate nations (players from the ICC's associate nations). However, with only 77 slots up for grabs, including 30 slots reserved for foreign players, it would be quite interesting to see how the teams set up their squads based on the players who are set to go under the hammer on Tuesday.

Among all the franchises, Gujarat Titans (GT) has the highest purse at the moment with Rs 38.15 crore. This is due to the cash they received from MI after they traded Hardik Pandya to his former franchise. Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) has the lowest purse size among the 10 franchises with Rs 13.15 crore.
