Lucknow Super Giants will Punjab Kings play for the first time in the IPL 2023 season at the Ekana Cricket Stadium, Lucknow, at 7:30 P.M. match Saturday..

 

In IPL 2023, Lucknow Super Giants have won four matches this season. They won three while lost one match. Lucknow had a roaring start to their campaign, beating Delhi Capitals by 50 runs in their first IPL 2023 match. They lost to Chennai Super Kings in the away match, but Lucknow staged a superb comeback in the next two matches, beating Sunrisers Hyderabad and Royal Challengers Bangalore. 

 

Punjab Kings too had a rousing start to their IPL 2023 season, beating Kolkata Knight Riders and Rajasthan Royals in their first two matches. But nPunjab lost their winning ways in their last two matches, and lost to Sunrisers Hyderabad and Gujarat Titans. 

 

This will be the second match between the two teams. In their previous match in Mumbai on April 29, 2022, Lucknow Super Giants defeated Punjab Kings by 20 runs. Playing first, Quinton de Kock 46 runs (37 balls) and Deepak Hooda 34 runs (28 balls) helped Lucknow post 153/8 in 20 overs. From Punjab, Kagiso Rabada took 4/38. In reply, Lucknow’s Mohsin Khan (three for 24) and Krunal Pandya (two for 11) played key roles in helping their team win by 20 runs.
