Lunar Eclipse 2022: India witnessed the year's last lunar eclipse on Tuesday evening, November 8. It began at 17:32 PM and ended at 18.18 PM in the evening.
The longest duration of totality was 1 Hour 24 Minutes and 28 Seconds. Lunar Eclipse 2022 or Chandra Grahan 2022 was first witnessed in Itanagar, Arunachal Pradesh.
It was visible in several cities in India and also in other parts of the world.
At the peak of the eclipse, the moon was approx. 242,740 miles (390,653 kilometers) away, according to NASA scientists. It was the second total lunar eclipse of 2022 and also the last for about three years. The next total lunar eclipse will occur on March 14, 2025.
