UPSC Civil Services 2023: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has announced the results of the highly anticipated Civil Services Exam 2023, revealing Aditya Srivastava as the topper.

Topper's list​: 

  • Aditya Srivastava emerges as the top rank holder.
  • Animesh Pradhan secures the second position.
  • Donuru Ananya Reddy claims the third spot.

Selection Process:

The results are based on a meticulous evaluation comprising the written examination conducted in September 2023 and subsequent Personality Test interviews held from January to April 2024.

Recommendations:

A total of 1,016 candidates have been recommended for appointment, reflecting their outstanding performance.

Provisional Candidature:

Notably, the candidature of 355 recommended candidates remains provisional, pending further verification and scrutiny.

Allocation of Services:

IAS: 180 candidates selected.

IPS: 200 candidates chosen.
IFS: 37 candidates secured positions.

Central Government Roles:

Grade A Posts: 613 candidates have been selected.
Grade B Posts: 113 candidates have been chosen.

Interview Participation:

More than 2,800 candidates actively participated in the interview rounds conducted throughout January to April.

Examination Details:

The Civil Services mains examination was conducted in a subjective mode across two shifts, spanning from September 15 to September 24.
