May Festivals 2023: May is filled with festivals, fasts, and other auspicious occasions. During the current month, there will be several auspicious days starting from Mohini Ekdashi on the first day of the month when devotees worship lord Vishnu to Narashinma Jayanti, and Buddha Purnima, among others.

According to the Hindu calendar, the month of Jyeshtha will begin, during which Tagore Jayanti will also be celebrated. One of the most anticipated days of the year falls during this month, and the globe celebrates it as Mother's Day. Apara Ekadashi will also be commemorated throughout this month, followed by Shani Jayanti, and on the same day, ladies will fast for the well-being of their spouses on the day of Vat Savitri, one of the most important Hindu festivals. After Jyeshtha Amavasya, Maharana Pratap Jayanti will be celebrated during the last week of May.
