Manu Ahuja, whole-time director and CEO of Jubilant Agri and Consumer Products, died on Saturday, December 9, 2023, the company said in a BSE update on Sunday. Ahuja started his career with Coats Viyella in 1991. He had also been in leadership positions with Whirlpool and Akzo Nobel.
Manu Ahuja, whole-time director and CEO of Jubilant Agri and Consumer Products, died on Saturday, December 9, 2023, the company said in a BSE filing on Sunday (December 10, 2023).
"We regret to inform you of the sudden and sad demise of Mr. Manu Ahuja, Whole-time Director & CEO of JACPL, on Saturday, December 9, 2023. Mr. Ahuja's sudden and unexpected passing away will be an irreparable loss to JACPL and all the Directors and Employees of JACPL convey deep sympathy, sorrow and condolences to his family," the company said ina statement.
"JACPL, the Directors and the Management, place on record appreciation for the valuable contributions made by him during his tenure as Whole-time Director & CEO of JACPL."
Who was Manu Ahuja?
As per Jubilant Industries website, Manu Ahuja was an alumnus of XLRI Jamshedpur and Thapar Institute of Engineering, Patiala. He had rich experience in diverse businesses and industries across India and South East Asia. Prior to joining the company, he was associated with ASSA ABLOY Asia Pacific as President South Asia, for over 7 years, where he managed 18 countries - India, SAARC & ASEAN. He started his career with Coats Viyella in the year 1991. He has also been in leadership positions with Whirlpool & Akzo Nobel.
