Aastha Special Train to Ayodhya: Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) will run the first Aastha Special train from Vizag to Ayodhya to offer Ram Lalla Darshan to devotees.

The train will be run after January 22, the day when the Pran Pratishtha ceremony is scheduled at Ram Temple in Ayodhya.

Not just from Vizag, but Aastha special trains to Ayodhya will run from more than 200 destinations from across India.

Ticket bookings to Ayodhya for these special trains will be done through the IRCTC portal, which will also provide details related to the journey.

However, devotees who are keen to do Ram Lalla darshan have to book return tickets also.

These train will be available for an initial period of 90 days. 

The service will be extended as per booking response later on.

Railways is expecting that the demand for bookings for Aastha Special trains will be throughout the year.

Aastha Special trains have been running for other places also, the most prominent being Vaishno Devi.
