Good Friday 2023 bank holiday: All the public and private sector banks will remain closed today (April 7) on account of Good Friday as per the Reserve Bank of India’s (RBI) bank official holiday calendar. Good Friday is a holy day for Christians. This day marks the crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Churches observe the day with a service that normally takes place in the evening, where they remember Christ’s death with hymns and thanksgiving prayers.
