Salman Khan next film Sikander to release on Eid 2025: Bollywood superstar Salman Khan — who is well-known for his big-ticket film releases on the occassion of Eid festival — gave his fans a different surprise 'release' of sorts on Eid-ul-fitr this year. On the occassion of holy Ramzan and Eid, Salman announced on Thursday, April 11, that his next film has been titled 'Sikander' and will be released in movie theatres across India and abroad on Eid 2025.

As per reports, Salman Khan will be playing the titular role of Sikander in the Eid 2025 release 'Sikander'.

The film will be directed by A R Murugadoss, who is well-known for directing blockbuster Tamil and Hindi films like 'Ghajini', 'Thuppakki', 'Holiday: A Soldier Is Never Off Duty' and 'Sarkar'.

Murugadoss had also written the script for Salman Khan's 2014 film 'Jai Ho', which was a remake of his Telugu superhit film 'Stalin'.

The film 'Sikander' will be produced by Sajid Nadiadwala's banner Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment.

 

Salman Khan Eid 2025 release Sikander announcement

Salman Khan took to X (formerly known as Twitter) to announce that his next film 'Sikander' will release in cinema halls on Eid next year (2025).

In a message posted on his official social media handles, Salman Khan shared his best wishes to his fans on the occassion of Eid. He also promoted Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff starrer 'Bade Miyan Chote Miyan' and Ajay Devgn's 'Maidaan', by asking his fans to watch the two films in theatres on Eid.

In his message, Salman Khan wrote alongwith an announcement poster, "Iss Eid ‘Bade Miyan Chote Miyan' aur ‘Maidaan' ko dekho aur agli Eid 'Sikandar' se aa kar milo... Wish u all Eid Mubarak! #SajidNadiadwala Presents #Sikandar. Directed by @a.R.Murugadoss."
