Delhi Metro Update For Holi 2024: The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) announced on Friday, March 22, that metro train services will continue to run today, March 25, but they won't be available in the morning.
 
According to the DMRC, metro services will resume only after 2:30 PM on all lines, including Rapid Metro/Airport Express Line, and will continue as normal thereafter.

"On the day of the ‘Holi festival, i.e. 25th March, 2024 (Monday), Metro services will NOT be available till 2:30 PM on all Lines of the Delhi Metro including Rapid Metro/Airport Express Line," DMRC tweeted.

The metro train services will thus start at 2:30 PM from terminal stations on all Lines on March 25 and will continue normally thereafter, DMRC added.

Since operations from terminal stations will start at 2:30 pm, services at non-terminal stations will start later, as per the IANS report.

ITO Metro station closed

In a separate announcement, following the arrest of Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal in the Excise Policy Scam Case, the DMRC said that on the advice of Delhi Police, the ITO Metro station will remain closed from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM on Friday, March 22.

"Service Update On advice of Delhi Police, ITO Metro station will remain closed from 08:00 AM to 06:00 PM today i.e, 22nd March 2024," DMRC tweeted.
