Chaitra Navratri 2023 Day 2: In India, usually, four types of Navratris are observed throughout the year. These are Shardiya Navratri, Chaitra Navratri, Magha Gupt Navratri and Ashadha Gupt Navratri. Out of these, two are widely celebrated.
Chaitra Navratri 2023 Day 2: The auspicious nine-day festival of Chaitra Navratri has begun on Wednesday, March 22. People all over the country are welcoming the festival with lots of fervour. It is believed that on the occasion of Navratri Goddess Durga comes down to Earth and showers her blessing on the devotees.

Chaitra Navratri 2023 Day 2: Goddess
Goddess Brahmacharini is worshipped on the second day of Navratri. She is depicted as walking bare feet carrying Jap Mala in the right hand and Kamandal in the left hand. It is believed that Lord Mangal, the provider of all fortunes, is governed by Goddess Brahmacharini.
Chaitra Navratri 2023 Day 2: Colour
The second day of Chaitra Navratri is associated with the colour Yellow. It signifies positive feelings, cheerfulness, joy, and kindness. The colour also boosts confidence and curiosity.
