Chaitra Navratri 2023 3rd Day: Chaitra Navaratri is celebrated from March 22 to March 30. Devotees pray to Maa Durga during this nine-day-long festival, with some believers even fasting and abstaining from consuming alcohol and meat products. The occasion is also special for devotees of Lord Raam, who celebrate Raam Navami on the ninth day of this nine-day-long festival.

All nine days of the Chaitra Navratri are dedicated to worshipping the nine avatars of Maa Durga - Shailaputri, Brahmacharini, Chandraghanta, Kushmanda, Skandamata, Katyayani, Kalaratri, Mahagauri, and Siddhidatri.
