Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Bollywood star Amitabh Bachchan, Katrina Kaif, Kangana Ranaut, Hema Malini, Tamil superstar Rajinikanth, cricketers Anil Kumble and Venkatesh Prasad, and a lot of other A-listers from all walks of life are set to participate in the consecration ceremony.

Ahead of the high-profile ceremony, Ayodhya has been converted into a place of tight security where VVIPs and VIPs will grace the Ram Mandir Pran Pratishtha ceremony on Monday.

Here is the schedule for the Ram Mandir consecration ceremony event on January 22.

10:25 am: PM Modi will arrive in Ayodhya in the morning hours on Monday. From there, he will take a helicopter to reach Ram Mandir.

10:55 am: Modi is expected to reach the Ram Mandir venue.

From 11 a.m. to 12 noon: Modi is scheduled to take a tour of Ram Mandir.

From 12:05 pm to 1 pm: The Pran Pratishtha ceremony will take place between these hours, where Modi is scheduled to preside over the consecration ceremony rituals.

What will happen in Pran Pratishtha ceremony?

12:20 pm: The Pran Pratishtha ceremony will begin at 12:20 pm with a prayer to Lord Vishnu.

12:21 pm: Priests will start the chanting of mantras to invoke the presence of Lord Rama. 

12:29 pm: Priests are scheduled to place Lord Rama's idol in the Sanctum Santorum of Ram Mandir. 

12:30 pm: The ceremony will finish with a prayer to Lord Rama.

Around 1 pm: Modi will leave the Mandir premises and address a rally of around 7,000 people.

At 2:10 pm: Modi is scheduled to visit Kuber Ka Tilla, where an ancient temple of Bhagwan Shiv has been restored.   

Note: On the ocassion of the Ram Mandir consecration ceremony, BSE and NSE and government banks in a lot states in India will be closed.
