While India and Afghanistan saw heartbreaks in Super 4, Srilanka and Pakistan would be hoping to bring some much-needed positive news for their countrymen who are already burdened with the economic crisis and megafloods respectively.

Sri Lanka versus Pakistan final match will be played on September 11 at Dubai International Cricket Stadium, which will start 7.30 pm IST onwards.

On TV, the match will be telecasted live on the Star Sports network and the same could be watched on digital streaming partner Disney+ Hotstar.

Meanwhile, Sri Lanka won the dress rehearsal ahead of the Asia Cup final owing to Opener Pathum Nissanka's unbeaten half-century to complement a superb bowling show as Sri Lanka overcame a shaky start to beat Pakistan by five wickets in the final Super 4 clash of the Asia Cup here on Friday.

Chasing a paltry 122 in the dress rehearsal ahead of Sunday's summit clash, Sri Lanka were reduced to 29/3 inside five overs but the 24-year-old Nissanka held the innings together with his unbeaten 55 off 48 balls.

In the Group stage, A total of six teams - India, Pakistan, and Hong Kong (Group A) and Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, and Afghanistan (Group) faced each other to take up a spot in Super 4.

Two teams from each group advanced to the Super Four stage -- India and Pakistan from Group A and Sri Lanka and Afghanistan from Group B.
