Zwigato Box Office Collection Day 2: Comedian Kapil Sharma starrer movie 'Zwigato' witnessed an upward trend at the box office on the second day. However, the two days collection of the movie remained very low due to its weak mo-up on Day 1.

The film, released on March 17 (Friday), earned Rs 62 lakhs at the box office on Day 2 (Saturday). With this, the overall collection crossed the mark of Rs 1 crore. The Sharma’s film minted Rs 1.05 crore (total) after two days at the domestic box office.

According to film critic Taran Adarsh, Zwigato witnessed an upward trend on Day 2 with +44.19%. However, the film needs a miraculous jump on Day 3 for a respectable weekend, he added.

About Zwigato

Directed by Nandita Das, the film shows the journey of a man who lost his job during the pandemic. It is Sharma's third film as a lead. The other two movies where he tried his luck on the big screen are Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon and Firangi. Both films failed to perform well.

The story revolves around the character Manas played by Kapil Sharma. Manas lost his job as a factory-floor manager during the pandemic. He later joined the food delivery app Zwigato to earn a livelihood for his family. He worked as a food delivery rider, grappling with the world of ratings and incentives.
