Veera Simha Reddy box office collection day 1: The much- awaited movie of Tollywood actor Nandamuri Balakrishna -- Veera Simha Reddy, was released on January 12. The first big release of 2023 was welcomed by film buffs in a grand manner. Veer Simha Reddy earned more than what the two Tamil biggies Varisu and Thunivu earned combined.

Veera Simha Reddy storyline 

Directed by Gopichand Malineni and produced by Mythri Movie Makers, Veera Simha Reddy stars Shruti Haasan as the female lead. The movie makers promised that Balayya will be seen in a never seen before mass and action-packed role.

Balayya is said to have played a dual role in the action thriller. The big cast includes Varalaxmi Sarathkumar from Kollywood and Duniya Vijay from Sandalwood.

Veera Simha Reddy Box Office collection 

Veera Simha Reddy earned a whopping Rs 32 crore net on its day 1 of the box office collection despite moderate reviews. The total opening day collection of Varisu and Thunivu combined in India is Rs 28 crore net.

According to the trade website Sacnilk, the movie had a 62.72 percent Telugu occupancy overall on Thursday, with the night shows seeing the highest occupancy. Hyderabad had the highest occupancy out of all the Telugu-speaking areas in the AP/TS market where the movie was released on January 12. The weekend is expected to have more fans watching the movie which will help in more collections.

The challenge for Veera Simha Reddy will be facing tough competition from Chiranjeevi and Ravi Teja’s Waltair Veerayya which released today, January 13. It will be interesting to see how the two films manage to perform massively without eating much into each other’s business.
