Salaar Vs Dunki Box Office Collection: Prabhas starrer movie 'Salaar Part 1: Ceasefire' is making producers and distributors smile all the way to the bank as the film crossed the Rs 300 crore mark at the domestic box office. Directed by Prashanth Neel of 'KGF 2' fame, the movie hit screens on December 22, a day after Shah Rukh Khan's 'Dunki', however, in terms of earnings the action-thriller is way ahead in the race.

Rajkumar Hirani's directorial movie 'Dunki' minted a total of Rs 161.01 crore at the domestic box office after the completion of the first week, according to the data shared by Sacnilk. 

As per data shared by industry tracker Sacnilk, Prabhas's film was far ahead of this number — earning Rs 308 crore in its first week — thereby clocking a major difference gain of Rs 146.99 crore (approx) over the SRK-starrer.

On day 7 (Thursday), 'Salaar Part 1: Ceasefire' earned Rs 12.1 crore at the domestic box office. However, compared to the prior day collection, the action-thriller witnessed a decline of more than Rs 3.5 crore. The film minted Rs 15.6 crore on Wednesday (the sixth day).

Whereas, SRK's 'Dunki' minted Rs 9 crore (approximately) on day 8 (Thursday, December 28), according to the industry tracker Sacnilk. But compared to the prior day collection, the comedy-drama saw a slight decrease in the box office numbers, i.e. - Rs 1.5 crore. The film minted Rs 10.5 crore on Wednesday (the seventh day).
