Raju Srivastav heart attack: Comedian Raju Srivastava was on Wednesday admitted to All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Delhi after he suffered a heart attack at a gym. Srivastava fell unconscious while he was working out on a treadmill.  Srivastava was immediately rushed to the hospital by his trainer. He was admitted to the Emergency and was given cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) twice. CPR is a lifesaving technique that is useful mainly in heart attacks.

The comedian is currently at the hospital under the supervision of doctors.

Srivastava is a popular household name and is also one of the most popular stand-up comedians on Indian television.

Srivastava was recently seen shooting for India’s Laughter Champion show on Sony TV. "India’s Laughter Champion Ki Shoot Par Shekhar Suman, Archana Puran Singh Aur Comedian Saathiyo Se Bahut Dino baad Mil Kar Bahut Maza Aaya.. Aap Bhi Maza Leejiye.. Kyunki Aa Raha Hu Mai on Sony Channel this Week," he wrote on Instagram.

Srivastava shot to fame from The Great Indian Laughter Challenge. He participated in Big Boss season 3 as well. He has made several cameo roles appearances in films such as Aamdani Atthanni Kharcha Rupaiya, Maine Pyar Kiya, Baazigar and others.
