Comedian Raju Srivastava remains on life support in the intensive care unit of AIIMS. The 58-year-old stand-up comedian was admitted to the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) on Wednesday after suffering a heart attack. There has been no improvement in the condition of popular comedian-actor Raju Srivastava as he remains on life support in the intensive care unit of AIIMS here, hospital sources said on Sunday, a PTI report said.

Kailash Kher, a popular singer has shared a video on his Instagram handle requesting his fans and everyone to pray for Raju Srivastava`s early recovery and stop spreading rumours.

There has been a minor improvement in comedian says, Raju Srivastava`s nephew. He revealed on Saturday that the comedian, who is on ventilator in ICU in AIIMS, New Delhi, is "getting better", an IANS report said.

Sharing an update about his health, Raju`s nephew said, "Raju Ji`s condition is gradually and slowly getting better. Doctors are also saying that he is showing a positive response. There are no signs of negative results in his reports which is again a positive sign. Also, Raju Ji moved his hand and fingers which doctors have informed us. He is a fighter, he will be back.", an IAS report added.

In his video, the `Teri Deewani` singer said: "Namashkar, I am Kailash Kher, Bharat and the entire world. I request that Raju Srivastava is our family friend and elder brother and a disaster has come upon him. There is deterioration in his health due to which he is hospitalized and many people are spreading rumours that he passed away or he is no more", a PTI report said.

He added: "Please in place of this, pray for his good health as prayers have a lot of power. We at personal level have organised Mahamrityunjaya Mantra by 21 saints", a PTI report added.

Srivastava's family had released a statement on his official Instagram page, saying the comedian's condition is "stable" on Friday night.

"Raju Srivastava ji's condition is stable. We are praying for his speedy recovery. The doctors are treating him and are doing their best. Thanks to all the well-wishers for continued love and support," the family said in the statement, a PTI report earlier had added

Srivastava shot to fame from The Great Indian Laughter Challenge. He participated in Big Boss season 3 as well. He has made several cameo roles in films such as Aamdani Atthanni Kharcha Rupaiya, Maine Pyar Kiya, Baazigar and others.
