Jailer Box Office Collection: Rajnikanth starrer movies India collection breaches Rs 200-cr mark; worldwide earnings set to touch Rs 400 cr
Rajnikanth starrer Jailer continues to mesmerise audiences in India and overseas. While its India collection after Day 6 breached the mark of Rs 200 crore, the movies overseas business has also earned Rs 145 crore.
Jailer Box Office Collection Day 6: Jailer's purple patch on the box office continued as its Indian collection breached the Rs 200 crore mark on Indepdence Day (Tuesday, August 15, 2023) with a Rs 36.5 crore collection, as per early estimates reported by Sacnik.com.
With such a bolstering performance at the box office, Jailer's total worldwide collection is also set to touch the Rs 400 crore mark as it has also collected Rs 145 crore from its overseas business.
The movie has earned a net of Rs 210.65 crore from the Indian market, while its gross business from the same is Rs 247.20 crore.
Hence, the six-day worldwide collection for the Tamil movie stands at Rs 392.20 crore.
Jailer's Key Collection Stats
Jailer is garnering notable attention from Tamil moviegoers, as it had an overall Tamil occupancy of 81.59 per cent on Tuesday (August 15, 2023), the most in the last six days.
Interestingly, it had more Telugu occupancy at 82.29 per cent on August 15 than its Tamil occupancy on the same day.
In the Hindi heartland, Jailer is getting competition from Gadar 2, OMG 2, Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani, and Satyaprem Ki Katha, while Telugu movies Maveeran and Baby are also emerging as popular choices for cinema enthusiasts.
Among Hollywood blockbusters, Oppenheimer, Barbie, and Mission Impossible: Dead Reckoning Part 1 continue to amaze the Indian audience.
Jailer's Total Earnings Break Up
Jailer had a breathtaking opening on Thursday (August 10) when it earned Rs 48.35 crore.
The movie's collection dipped for the second day to Rs 25.75 crore, but it bounced back on the third day to earn Rs 34.3 crore.
The movie's collection jumped to Rs 42.2 crore on Sunday (August 13), while it was Rs 23.55 crore on Monday.
The Indepdence Day turned out to be a good day for the movie as it earned Rs 36.5 crore.

Rajinikanth plays the role of the father of a police officer in the Nelson Dilipkumar-directed movie.
Termed an action-packed entertainer, the film also features Tamannaah Bhatia, Ramya Krishnan, Jackie Shroff, Shiva Rajkumar, Priyanka Mohan, Vasanth Ravi, Yogi Babu and Vinayakan.
Malayalam superstar Mohanlal also has a cameo role in the film.
Jailer has been reportedly made for a budget of Rs 200 crore.
