Goodbye Box Office Collection: Amitabh Bachchan starrer family drama Goodbye is currently playing in cinemas. According to a note issued by Balaji Motion Pictures, the movie which was released on October 7, earned Rs 1.42 crore on opening. On Saturday and Sunday, the movie garnered Rs 1.78 crore and Rs 1.96 crore, respectively.

Besides Amitabh Bachchan, Goodbye also features Rashmika Mandanna and Neena Gupta.

"'Goodbye', Ektaa R Kapoor's Balaji Motion Pictures in association with Good Co. Collects Rs 5.16 crores at the box office over the weekend," according to the makers of the film.

Written and directed by Vikas Bahl, `Goodbye` is a family comedy-drama. It is a story of an Indian family depicted by the Bhalla family and it highlights the importance of family values and relationships.

Actress Rashmika Mandanna, who made her Bollywood debut with `Goodbye`, and is known for her portrayal of Srivalli in the Allu Arjun-starrer `Pushpa: The Rise`, plays Big B's daughter and Neena Gupta is her mother in the movie.

The movie is a dramedy, helmed by Vikash Bahl.

The film has an accomplished cast consisting of Neena Gupta alongside Sunil Grover, Pavail Gulati, Ashish Vidyarthi, Elli AvrRam, Sahil Mehta, and Shivin Narang in supporting roles.

Moreover, `Goodbye` became the first film to adopt the reduced pricing policy of Rs 150 per ticket on the release day of the film, as per IANS. 

Amitabh Bachchan made the announcement via a special video posted on Instagram, confirming the exciting news for moviegoers and urging them to see "Goodbye," which was released on October 7 at an astonishingly reduced price across India.
