Drishyam 2 trailer released, Drishyam 2 release date: The trailer of the highly anticipated crime thriller starring Ajay Devgn and Tabu has been released. The 'Singham' actor has shared the trailer of the movie on his social media handle. The trailer of the movie was released by the makers of the Abhishek Pathak film in Goa.

The movie will be released the cinemas next month, according to a Tweet shared by Ajay Devgn.

"Shabdon pe nahin, drishyon pe dhyaan do. Kyunki shabdon mein, jhoot chupne ki jagah dhoond hi leta hai.#Drishyam2Trailer Out Now Case Reopens on 18th November, 2022," he wrote.

The trailer introduces Ajay Devgn's character Vijay Salgaonkar and family under cloud of suspicion growing darker as they try to bury the old crime. The Salgaonkar family is worried about the seven-year-old case.

Akshaye Khanna is seen as an investigating officer who is out to catch Salgaonkar family's lie. Tabu, the former IG and mother of Sam, is seen making a comeback to get the case solved. In the trailer, Tabu is seen sharing that she had underestimated the ‘4th fail’ the last time in contest of referring to Vijay. She also adds up that he too has underestimated a mother, and that will lead to his fall.

The 2 min 24 second trailer is full of suspense, the trailer ends with the Ajay Devgn character recording a confession.

Helmed by Abhishek Pathak, the film is a sequel to the 2015 release 'Drishyam' and a remake of a 2013 Malayalam film of same name. In 'Drishyam' Ajay's character Vijay Salgaonkar was seen protecting his family after an incident involving his elder daughter created issues for them that led to the police investigation.

Ajay Devgn had earlier announced the date of the trailer launch. He had shared new poster on his Twitter page and wrote: "Sach ped ke beej ki tarah hota hai. Jitna bhi chahe dafnaalo, woh ek din bahar aa hi jaata hai. #Drishyam2 Trailer Out Tomorrow Case Reopens on 18th November, 2022".

Apart from Ajay Devgn and Tabu, the film stars Shriya Saran, Akshaye Khanna, Ishita Dutta, Mrunal Jadhav and Rajat Kapoor in key roles.
