Diwali 2022: Diwali is here and people are deeply engrossed in celebration and festivities. Diwali, the festival of light, calls for family time and some binge-watching as well. Multiple big releases are slated for Diwali — from 'The Rock' Dwayne Johnson's Black Adam, Akshay Kumar's 'Ram Setu' to Ajay Devgn's 'Thank God', there is plenty of power-packed content ready to hit the theatres. A few films that released recently are a must-watch this festive season.

Here are a few releases this Diwali:

Ram Setu

Helmed by Abhishek Sharma, the film stars Akshay Kumar, Jacqueline Fernandez, Nushrratt Bharuccha and veteran actor Nassar in crucial roles. The action-adventure film is slated to release on October 25.

The film follows an atheist-archaeologist-turned-believer who races against time to prove the true existence of the legendary Ram Setu before evil forces destroy the pillar of India's heritage.

Thank God

The upcoming comedy-drama film stars Ajay Devgn, Sidharth Malhotra and Rakul Preet Singh in the lead roles.

The Indra Kumar directed movie is set to release on October 25.

The film showcases a couple of goofy, kind-hearted men as they try to reform the society.

Black Adam

The film stars Dwayne Johnson, Aldis Hodge and Pierce Brosnan. Directed by Jaume Collet-Serra, the film released on October 20.  

The story follows Black Adam who is freed from his earthly tomb, ready to unleash his unique form of justice on the modern world.

Har Har Mahadev

The film directed and written by Abhijeet Shirish Deshpande, stars Subodh Bhave, Himanshu Jha and Mohan Joshi in lead roles.

The film is about the inspirational story of 300 soldiers, who were led into a battle by Baji Prabhu Deshpande, the commander of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj.

Doctor G

The story follows Uday Gupta, the protagonist who finds himself as the lone male student in the Gynaecology department of a hospital. His reluctance leads to chaos, confusion, comedy and eventually, great camaraderie with his fellow classmates.

Helmed by Anubhuti Kashyap, the film stars Ayushmann Khurrana, Shefali Shah and Rakul Preet Singh in key roles. The film released on October 14.
