Avatar 2 release date: James Cameron's Academy Award-winning 2009 epic adventure 'Avatar', which hit the silver screen 13 years ago, is all set to return to theatres in remastered 4K High Dynamic Range format. The first sequel to the blockbuster movie Avatar is ready to take audiences back to the visually mesmerising world of Pandora. The movie was released in China as well and became one of the few foreign films to get access to the Chinese market in recent months.

The much-awaited sequel 'Avatar: The Way of Water' will release in theatres worldwide today i.e. 16 December 2022.

Avatar 2: Box Office Collection Prediction

Both in India and worldwide, Avatar 2 has created a lot of buzz. The movie has received almost 20 crores from first-day advance booking and will be released in approximately 3500 theatres. The first day's revenue is anticipated to be between 35 and 40 crores, and the weekend's revenue will be close to 100 crores.

Earlier, Avatar- directed by James Cameron, earned more than USD 2.8 billion at the global box office, making it the highest-grossing movie of all time. In addition to winning three Oscars for best cinematography, production design, and visual effects, it was nominated for nine Academy Awards, including best film and best director.

Avatar 2: Storyline

Set more than a decade, Avatar: The Way of Water tells the story of sully family (Jake, Neytiri, and the kids), the troubles that follow them, the length they go to keep each other safe, the battles they fight to stay alive, and the tragedies they endure.

The movie will expand the world of Pandora which enchanted audiences more than a decade ago. This time, when the filmmaker returns to Pandora, it will be different since he will be venturing into the underwater territory.
