Oscars 2023 HIGHLIGHTS, Awards Winners List: RRRs Naatu Naatu song makes history, winning the Academy Award for Best Original Song. Everything Everywhere All at Once and All Quite on the Western Front so far have dominated the 95th Academy Awards. Everything Everywhere All at Once has so far bagged two big wins - best actor for Ke Huy Quan and best actress for Jamie Lee Curtis, while All Quiet on the Western Front has received best international feature film as well as the best original score and best production design. Meanwhile, for India, the big achievement came as Kartiki Gonsalves and Guneet Moongas The Elephant Whisperers won the award for the best documentary short film. The Naatu Naatu song from the Telugu-language flick RRR live performance got a standing ovation from the audience. The performance was introduced by Bollywood star Deepika Padukone. Other major winners were CNN Films' "Navalny" for best documentary feature and Guillermo del Toro's "Pinocchio" as best animated feature. James Cameroon's "Avatar: The Way of Water" won the award for the best visual effects. Meanwhile, for India, the big achievement came as Kartiki Gonsalves and Guneet Moonga's "The Elephant Whisperers" won the award for the best documentary short film. The film depicts the relationship between an indigenous couple and an orphaned baby elephant. Another feather in the cap will be the "Naatu Naatu" song from the Telugu-language flick "RRR" live performance getting a standing ovation from the audience. The performance was introduced by Bollywood star Deepika Padukone, calling it "a total banger". It is the first song from an Indian production to ever be nominated for an Oscar. Praised for its buoyant choreography and catchy tune, the song won India’s first-ever Golden Globe in the best original song category last month.

AP Film Writers Lindsey Bahr and Jake Coyle are predicting a big haul for “Everything Everywhere All at Once.”
