Oppo F25 Pro 5G Review: Design

Weighing just over 177 grams with a precise thickness of 7.54 mm, the first thing that lures you in is the Oppo F25 Pro’s slim profile. The volume and power buttons are located on the sides, while the bottom houses the USB-C charging point, speaker grill, and microphone. The back panel has a matte touch while the camera module gives off a red colour sheen as it glitters in the light.

Oppo Reno 11 Pro Review: Flaunt your smartphone, photos too

Running on ColorOS 14 based on Android 14, this device has some exciting features. The enticing prospects include some AI features, along with several customisation options. Overall, the unmissable thing to ponder upon is the unwanted pre-loaded games and apps, awaiting the ‘force close’ command for a cleaner UI.

Oppo F25 Pro 5G Review: Battery and Charging

Powered by a 5000mAh battery, the Oppo F25 Pro boasts a run-time of almost 24 hours. The package comes with a 67W charger and it can juice your device from zero to 100 per cent comfortably in around 60 minutes.

Oppo F25 Pro 5G Review: Camera

The Oppo F25 Pro camera module includes a triple sensor setup at the back, led by a 64MP main camera, an 8MP ultra-wide camera and a 2MP macro camera. The front camera has a 32MP sensor for selfies. The camera quality appears to be a mixed bag as the photo quality is good in natural light. The output, however, is sometimes tilted towards saturated colours. The macro sensor captures details impressively in close-up shots. Under low light conditions, the photos do encounter some noise, and the details don’t match the natural daylight conditions. The front camera performs well, and the photos are on the smoother side. Filters can be handy, and as usual, after-processing outcomes are good with Oppo.

Oppo F25 Pro 5G Review: Verdict

Offering a cocktail of features and other positives including good battery life, a seamless display, decent performance, and a good camera setup, the Oppo F25 Pro is not a pushover for sure. Well, it is no no-brainer that MediaTek Dimensity is a mid-range chipset, and if your day-to-day activities involve browsing social media pages, watching movies and playing games, you are less likely to be disappointed. Frankly speaking, shortcomings are always there, but if you are looking to go for a budget smartphone, the Oppo F25 Pro is worth considering.
