Xiaomi has confirmed that its first laptop will be launched in India on June 11. The company is yet to confirm which product will arrive in the country but is expected to launch its machine under Mi brand. The company sells both laptops under both Redmi and MI brands in China. If reports are believed, that the RedmiBook 13 could be re-branded under Mi brand and launched in India.

RedmiBook 13 Ryzen Edition, RedmiBook 14 Ryzen Edition, and RedmiBook 16 Ryzen Edition recently made their debut in China. However, the India version is expected to be powered by Intel. Xiaomi has been teasing the laptop launch for the last few days, however, it is yet to reveal what it plans to release in the country.

The laptop set to be launched in India is likely to be powered by up to an Intel Core i7 processor and have a bezel-less screen with support for 1C charging. It will be interesting to see if Xiaomi launches multiple models of the device or just sticks to one. 

The RedmiBook 13 that launched in December in China. It features a 13.3-inch full-HD anti-glare display with 89 percent screen-to-body ratio. The laptop is powered by 10th generation Intel Core processors and the Nvidia GeForce MX250 GPU, with 8GB of DDR4 RAM. 

It claims to offer a battery life of 11 hours and can charge to 50 percent in just 35 minutes. It comes with a chiclet-style keyboard and DTS surround sound support. The RedmiBook 13 was launched at a starting price of CNY 4,199 (Rs 44,300).

The company has been promoting the India launch under with the hashtag ‘WhatsNextForMi' with clips of the device, which further confirms the launch under Mi brand.
