The Chinese-smartphone maker Xiaomi has launched Redmi Note 6 Pro which is the successor of Redmi Note 5 Pro in Indonesia today. The phone was recently also unveiled in Thailand. However, it has not yet been launched in India, but is expected to be soon introduced here, perhaps by end of this month. Unlike Redmi Note 5 Pro, the Redmi Note 6 Pro is packed with dual camera on both front and rear. It features a whole new design having a notch on its display with a thinner bottom bezel.

In Indonesia, the Redmi Note 6 Pro is priced in two variants. The 3GB RAM and 32GB storage begins at IDR 2899000 (Rs 14,000 approximately), whereas the 4GB RAM and 64GB storage starts at a price of IDR 32,99,000 (Rs 16,000 approximately). 

The phone comes with a 6.26-inch Full HD+ display with 19:9 aspect ratio along with notched display is covered with a 2.5D curved Gorilla Glass. 

Running on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 636 processor, the phone is powered with a battery life of  4,000mAh. 

As for camera, the phone features a dual camera module is comprised of 12-megapixel (f/1.9) and 5-megapixel(f/2.2) sensors with dual pixel autofocus. In the front, it has 20-megapixel and 2-megapixel selfie cameras with AI portrait 2.0 selfie and Beautify 4.0. Not only this, the phone is capable of recognising scenes across 27 categories due to its AI camera. 

Further, it is packed with connectivity options like  Bluetooth 5.0, 4G VoLTE, dual SIM support and Wi-Fi.

Finger print sensor along with facial recognition are some of its features. 

Recently, the Xiaomi has unveiled a host of smartphones under its Redmi 6 series involving Redmi 6, Redmi 6A and Redmi 6 Pro. The Redmi Note 6 Pro also falls under this series.
