Xiaomi  is all geared up for the launch of Redmi 6 series in China on June 12. The Chinese smartphone maker launched Redmi 5 and Redmi 5 Plus six months ago. However, the handset may not be launched in India anytime soon. Xiaomi might unveil the two phones on same day. Xiaomi Redmi 6 has reportedly received TENAA certification on May 28.  Redmi 6 is likely to have a 5.84-inch FHD+ display with 18:9 aspect ratio. The phone may come in 16GB+2GB RAM, 32GB+3GB RAM, and 64GB+4GB RAM variants, according to a BGR report.

The phone is expected to come with dual-camera setup at the back, 5-megapixel selfie camera, 3,900mAh battery. The phone might also have a fingerprint sensor at the back. It could run Android Oreo-based MIUI 10. The handset is expected to come with a 2.0 GHz processor and Snapdragon 625 chipset.  On the other hand, Redmi 6A is expected to come with a 5.45-inch HD+ 18:9 display.Redmi 6A is liekly to come in three variants in terms of storage and memory and it will have most probably 13-megapixel rear camera, 5-megapixel front camera. Besides that it may carry a 3,000mAh battery, and Android Oreo-based MIUI 10, the report said.

The Redmi 6A might be powered by Quad core, 2 GHz processor.  The phone is expected to come with 2 GB RAM. It is expected that the phone will also have Light sensor, Proximity sensor, Accelerometer and there might not have the fingerprint sensor. The storage capacity can be expanded by Up to 128 GB. It will be reportedly 8.3 mm slim and weighs 145 grams.
