Chinese phone maker Xiaomi smartphones have become very popular in India, courtesy their value for money features. Now, Xiaomi Redmi 5A has been put on sale and it is likely to suit your budget. Priced under Rs 6,000, Redmi 5A is going on sale via Flipkart today at 12 pm. In the open sale, along with Xioami Redmi 5A, another smartphone that will be made available is Redmi Note 5 Pro.
 
Redmi 5A and Redmi Note 5 Pro are being offered in two storage variants. The Redmi 5A with 2GB RAM and 16GB storage variant is priced at Rs 5,999, while 3GB RAM and 32GB storage model will cost Rs 6,999. 
 
The Redmi Note 5 Pro with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage variant is priced at Rs 14,999, while the other variant with 6GB of RAM and 64GB storage will be available at Rs 16,999.
 
If we look at specifications of Xiaomi Redmi 5A and Redmi Note 5 Pro, they come loaded with features. Sporting a 5-inch HD display, the Redmi 5A is powered by quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 chipset. With a 13-megapixel primary camera with f/2.2 aperture, it also features phase detection autofocus and LED flash, along with a 5-megapixel selfie shooter. Backed by a 3,000mAh battery, Redmi 5A runs MIUI 9 based on Android 7.1.2 Nougat.
 
Redmi Note 5 Pro, however, boasts of features like 5.99-inch Full HD+ display with 18:9 aspect ratio, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 SoC with octa-core CPU, and is equipped with dual rear camera setup comprising a primary 12-megapixel sensor and a secondary 5-megapixel depth sensor. This setup allows buyer to add DSLR-like bokeh effects to photos.
