Desh ka smartphone, Xiaomi Redmi 5A sale has started exclusively on Flipkart. The sale started at 12 pm. The Chinese smartphone maker has already sold over 8 million devices after it launched the phone in April, last year. Today's sale is exclusively on Flipkart and Xiaomi is selling two variants of the phone-  2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage and 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage.

Xiaomi Redmi 5A Pricing 
The smartphone is priced at  Rs 5,999 for the  2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage variant and the premium variant costs Rs 6,999. The device is available with Flipkart in four colours-  Grey, Gold, Rose Gold, and Blue. 

Xiaomi Redmi 5A Specifications 
It is the cheapest device from Xiaomi but boasts of excellent specifications. Redmi 5A features a 5-inch HD display and is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 SoC. The phone comes in two variants with 2GB/3GB of RAM and 16GB/32GB of internal storage.

Redmi 5A is running Android Nougat-based MIUI 9 ROM. The phone is powered with 3000mAh battery and comes with a single 13MP shooter on the rear followed by a single 5MP shooter on the front.

From the connectivity front, the phone supports, support for 4G LTE, VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth, GPS and a Micro USB port. It also comes with a dedicated microSD card slot for storage expansion.
