Xiaomi Redmi 4 will go on sales in India on Tuesday starting 12pm. The smartphone will be available on Amazon and Mi.com. The Xiaomi Redmi 4 is priced starting at Rs 6,999, with the two other variants priced higher.

Launched mid last month in India, it was unveiled in three variants, ie the 2GB RAM with 16GB internal storage priced at Rs 6,999, the 3GB RAM with 32GB internal storage at Rs 8,999 and the 4GB RAM with 64GB internal storage priced at Rs 10,999.

While the first two variants are on sale, the last variant will not be available in India until the end of June.

The Xiaomi Redmi 4 has a 5-inch HD display and is armed with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 435 processor. This helps it consume less power compared to its predecessor and does not go sluggish with normal use.

The device runs on MIUI 8 on top of Android Marshmallow and packs useful features. With the universal infrared remote, you can control TV, set-top box, air conditioner, fan and DVD with Redmi 4.

Other features include dual apps and fingerprint lock for apps. It sports a 13MP rear camera and a 5MP front camera. In terms of the battery it has a 4,100mAh battery that can ran for a day-and-a-half on moderate use.
