Xiaomi Redmi 3S, Redmi 3S Prime on sale on Amazon at discounted rates
The Redmi 3S is being offered at a discounted rate of Rs 8,999, while the Redmi 3S Prime is available for Rs 6,999.
After Xiaomi concluded its first flash sale of the Redmi 4A that it launched recently, now the China-based smartphone maker is preparing to have a Redmi 3S and Redmi 3S Prime smartphone sale. The Redmi 4A was launched as a successor of the Redmi 3S and hence the company is looking to push the sales of the remaining Redmi 3S.
The Redmi 3S is being offered at a discounted rate of Rs 8,999, while the Redmi 3S Prime is available for Rs 6,999. The phones are on sale from 12pm today on Amazon's official website.
Those looking to buy the smartphones do not need to register on the Amazon website to order the device.
In terms of specifications both the Redmi 3S and Redmi 3S Prime have a lot of things in common, except that the latter has a fingerprint scanner and more RAM storage.
Both smartphones have a 5 inch HD LCD IPS display and are powered by a 1.4GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 processor. While the Redmi 3S comes with a 2GB RAM with 16GB internal memory, the Redmi 3S Prime offers a 3GB RAM with 32 GB internal memory.
The smartphones have a 13 megapixel rear camera with a 5 megapixel front camera. They come packed with a 4000 mAh battery.
