Xiaomi is set to introduce a new series Mi CC on July 2. The company announced the launch of the new series, which is expected to have two smartphones in the beginning, last week. Now, the company has released the first look of one smartphone to be part of the series. Ahead of the launch, Xiaomi Product Manager Lao Wei posted a picture of the Mi CC9 on the Chinese microblogging site - Weibo. The picture shows a white variant of the smartphone and flaunts the rear panel design.

The image confirms that Mi CC9 will come with a triple rear camera setup placed vertically. It also shows that there is a LED flash to go with the camera. The image also confirms that there is no fingerprint scanner at the back. This means that the Mi CC9 can come with an in-display fingerprint scanner, giving better screen-to-body ratio. Going by the picture, the smartphone will have the Xiaomi logo on the left bottom corner. The company has confirmed that the smartphone will be first launched in China. It is yet to reveal anything about Mi CC9 India launch. 

What to expect from Mi CC9?

Several leaks have hinted at the features and specs of the Mi CC9. As per the leaks, the smartphone will come with a 6.39-inch AMOLED display and will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 730 processor that also powers the Redmi K20. The phone is tipped to be launched in two storage and RAM variants - 128GB and 256GB - 6GB and 8GB, respectively. The phone is said to run MIUI 10 on top of Android 9 Pie. It is likely to be powered by a 4000mAh battery which also powers the Redmi Note 7 series. 

The rear camera setup is expected to include a 48MP primary sensor, 16MP secondary camera, and 12MP third sensor. On the front, the phone is expected to include a 32MP selfie shooter. The Mi CC9 price has also been leaked. It is likely to be priced at 2,599 Yuan (~$378) for the base model with 6 GB RAM + 128 GB storage. The 8GB RAM + 128GB storage and 8GB RAM + 256GB storage models will cost around 2,799 Yuan (~$407) and 3,099 Yuan (~$451), respectively.
