Xiaomi unveiled the Mi 6X with MIUI 9 at an event in China a week ago. It is being anticipated that the same phone will be launched as Mi A2 in India. The device's predecessor, the Mi 5X, which is running out of stock at present, was launched in India as the Mi A1. This naming of Mi 5X as A1 is making people believe that Mi 6X would be launched in India as Mi A2. Mi A2 will be the second handset of Xiaomi that will come with its new digital assistant, Xioa Ai.

Variants in which Mi 6X will be available
Xiaomi's Mi 6X will be available in three variants and they are 4GB Ram with 64 GB storage and will be priced around Rs 16,900 (CNY 1,599), 6GB Ram with 64 GB storage and will be priced around Rs 19,000 (CNY 1,799) and the third model which is going to be the top variant of the model will come with 6GB RAM with 128GB internal storage, it will be priced around Rs 21,000 (CNY 1,999). 

Details about Xiaomi Mi 6X
Display:
5.99-inch with 18:9 aspect ration, 1080 x 2160 full HD+ resolution with a pixel density of 403 pixels per inch and 1500:1 static contrast ratio. The display also provides certain features like Night Mode, Standard mode, Eye Mode, and colour temperature adjustment support.

Chipset: Octa-core Snapdragon 660 SoC, with the aforementioned RAM and storage options.

Camera: Dual-camera setup on the back with a 12-megapixel primary sensor and a 20-megapixel secondary sensor. It carried a 20-megapixel front or selfie camera. Xiaomi says the AI support will help in taking the best photographs, along with features such as text-translation, currency conversion and more. 

Battery: 3010 mAH and traditionally it holds on to the IR emitter. 

According to GadgetsNow, Mi6X rivals are likely to be  Moto G5s Plus (or G6), Honor View 10. It also added that some Vivo and Oppo smartphones too may be affected.
